lighting lesson
today we did a lighting practice lesson in a room that was "unconventional". The room being so unconventional made us think more about positioning of the lights and cameras, we also tried many different ways of positioning lights to see how that effected the image, we used 3 point lighting mostly and had the lights positioned 120 degrees around the subjects, we exposed the image for the variables that we couldn’t control and then set up the lighting around that as a base layer. We also used 4 point lighting using the window and the wall as a 4th point of light. this session really helped as it fixed all the misconceptions about lighting and positioning off lights that i had before especially that the lighting you use will be different for different scenarios. i felt my group did a very good job in this task however we did need abit of help and suggestions from Keith
